I have two grown children and much compassion for parents and children who struggle with a variety of issues. I view relationships and parenting as a tremendous catalyst to inner growth when approached in the spirit of honesty and willingness to understand the other.
Alternative health and education
I am interested in options of alternative health and education as it applies to mental health. I sometimes follow research in these areas. I am happy to collaborate with alternative health providers and help find resources for you.
Spirituality and conditioning
I am interested in all spiritual faiths and ideas, especially how spirituality can help an individual transcend unhelpful conditioning in ways that lead to wholeness.
Many years ago as an undergraduate I focused my studies on Philosophy, Religious Philosophy, Native American studies. I have always had an interest in thinking deeply about meaning in life, and the difference and similarities of thinking in various cultures.
I value creative thinking and problem solving that transcends accepted cultural norms when needed to find solutions. Ultimately I am interested in freedom from unhelpful conditioning that also considers our deepest personal responsibility and the impact we have on others.
